Verd for Best New Artist – Metro FM awards

Verd Eaton is in my opinion the hottest R&B artist in the country at the moment. He hails from Newlands East, Durban and thanks in part to Bruinou.com members, he has been nominated for a Metro FM award. We need your help again and need you to please send an sms to vote for this talented young artist. We promise you that once he wins the award with your help, we will get him to perform at a function just for our members. It will be a huge injustice to SA music if this young man does not win the award. Let us give him the credit he deserves by supporting and making a statement that our music beongs up there.

I have done my 5 maximum 5 votes already and appeal to all of you to please do the same. He is extremely talented and for too long our artists are being ignored and not given the proper credit that they deserve.

I have attached a mail below from Verd’s twin sister.

As u all know, my twin brother Verdine, better known as VERD is up for an award at the Metro FM Music Awards late November. He has been nominated for “BEST MALE VOCALIST”

That is an honour.. !!!!!!

Unfortunately in our country, it’s the people’s voices that count and determine who gets the award based on SMS votes and telephonic votes. The voting line for telephonic voting has since been closed BUT the SMS number can still be used until the 23rd November 2006.

Please SMS your vote to 34764 ( type like this: VERD – BEST MALE VOCALIST).

Please forward this to EVERYONE ON UR MAILING LIST and get them to vote for VERD as well… We have to support local talent, especially when its this good!!!

So, remember u r only allowed 5 votes per cell number and i have maxed out mine, please SMS and use all your five votes to promote and push up VERD!!!!!

SO GET VOTING!!!!

Everyone, thanks for ur support and lets get voting…
