What happens when a life takes you from the early days of computing in South Africa, through questions of identity and belonging, to some deeply personal turning points?

In Episode 2 of The Bruinou Podcast, Code and Character: Breaking Barriers in Early Computing with Allan Klein, we sit down with Allan for a candid conversation about his life experiences.
Allan talks about breaking barriers, finding his place in spaces where people like him weren’t always expected to be. He is very forthright in speaking of the experiences that shaped the man he became. There are stories of technology and opportunity, but also family, identity, alcohol and the journey towards change.

It’s a conversation about where we come from, what shapes us, and what we choose to do with the life we’ve been given.
