No Checkers… This is a Samoosa

Are there really no Coloureds or Indians at Checkers HQ who could’ve spotted this and tell them it’s a Samoosa?

Clearly the person who listed the item on their system has never met a real Cape Muslim Tietie, Durban Indian Chachi or any Coloured Aunty.

Everywhere across South Africa and everywhere around the world it is known as a Samoosa.

Even Woolworths calls it a Samoosa.

Somehow Checkers makes it sound like an American invention.

Oh and the price?
Unless that Samoosa is packed with mince to make it heavier than a Big Jack Pie, we don’t want it.
