Moon Sick

Share:FacebookXWhatsAppEmail

The moon hung a heavy low

Most perfectly round rip in an otherwise jet-black sky

The inverse seemed true

For right before me sprawled like stars

The twinkling lights of a sleeping suburb

They seem to be drawn out by the light of this low hung moon,

Close enough to touch

Just just out of reach

Moon beams kissing rooftops kissing gently in its light

Hush now oh troubled thoughts

There is magic in a still world

Fediverse Reactions
What do you think?
