Your Face

Awake I see, what at night, my dreams cannot convey,

for the beauty you possess inside has changed, my

heart this day. I shall look at life, in a whole new

light because, before this hour I had no sight. I was

clouded by illusions and overwhelmed by life’s

threats, I was at my wits end, making my last bet. I

had lost faith in life and surely in love too, but

because of God’s grace he has lead me to you. Now I

trust my heart completely and will not judge when it

speaks, for your face is the only one that my heart

truly seeks.
