Bruinou.com celebrated its first birthday bash in style on Saturday night. If you weren’t there, what a pity because you definitely missed out. The evening kicked off with live hip hop performances (from Da Foundation and Blaq Cream) which were filmed by a camera crew. With such hip atmosphere and so many hopping fans it was like being on the set of a music video (Think MTV’s Making The Video).
It may have been cold outside, but inside the DJs were burning down the house! A party aint a party without great music and we definitely had plenty of that, as DJ Ashley (accompanied by the gifted DJ Sunil, also from Durban) and DJ Lance played one hot track after another. And when the heat got too much upstairs (what with all the sizzling moves on the jam-packed dance floor) you could cool off at the bar downstairs, while still enjoying great club music from one of the talented DJs. Pass The Roc (owned by Jeremy and Dillon, the talent behind Soundz Explicit) was there to promote their funky clothing line, while representatives from Play Station were there to present PS2 hampers to a few (very) lucky clubbers.
