Craftsmanship defines the art of story telling…

Tha Foundation, a hip-hop trio born and raised in Newlands East (Editors note – That’s the Bruinou.com team’s hometown),
Durban and now living in Johannesburg, are raising standards where the
stakes are high in the constantly evolving culture of music. Their love
for the art of “street journalism” educates and explains an experience
in song that listeners will bob heads to.

The group is made up of three equally talented brothers: Byron Tucker a.k.a. Dazz, Arnold Arrons a.k.a. BiggHitt, and Shane Arrons a.k.a. Prince.
They started Tha Foundation in early 2004 and since then have been
performing in and around Johannesburg. The streets have shown them much
love and respect since day one as they continue to exhibit mad skills
on mics. Signed to no record label, the trio are currently in the
studio working on releasing an album soon. Their upcoming
independently-financed project fuses a genre of music that appeals to a
wide audience and is blended with an injection of featured artists such
as Jenni Exford, Thando, Theo Jasson a.k.a. J, Andru Palmer (producer
of Coca Cola’s collaboration album), Helios, and Cape Verde Island’s Mo
Green.

So keep your eyes and ears peeled for this dynamic musical force and their album of artful storytelling.
