Contradictory Hypocrisy: White South Africans Claim to be Oppressed

Dr Tristán Kapp faces threats for showing the contradictory hypocrisy and sheer entitlement of White South Africans claiming to be well-off and oppressed at the same time.

I received a bunch of malicious threats (again) after airing my opinion on the topic of white people in South Africa (mainly right-wingers) claiming to be oppressed. I made sure to be highly specific this time, as the last time I was accused of being too generic. Yet, it appears I was a tad too specific this time round when I said:

“Dear Afrikaner right-wingers: please make up your minds. Do you want to claim you’re responsible for all the tax in SA & build expensive private universities? Or do you want to be genocide victims & oppressed by anti-white discrimination? You can’t be both…”

The intention was to highlight the hypocrisy of very contradictory claims circulating online (by the same people claiming “anti-white” oppression). How can you spend billions of rands on a private Afrikaans Christian University (the new Akademia); funded by white Afrikaans Christians, when you are persecuted for your race and religion? Or when you face a very dire existential threat from Malema’s “Kill the Boer!” chant that fuels “genocide” against whites?

Highlighting the Hypocrisy & Contractions of SA Whites Claim to be Oppressed

How can you afford an education (the likes of Martin van Staden, Ernst Roets, Corné Mulder, Dirk Hermann, etc. who all have doctorates and live opulent lifestyles thanks to their jobs at Sakeliga, Institute of Race Relations, and the Free Market Foundation)? All when the economic system is allegedly against you because of race laws and your white skin colour?

How do you have the money to pay tax (much less the “majority tax” – as right-wingers want to allege) when you are perpetually economically excluded because of BEE, Employment Equity, and 143 other “anti-white race laws”? All while spending time on social media insulting those who disagree with your self-professed victimhood… –make it make sense.

Majority seem to univocally think that you can be privileged and oppressed at the same time! Like being a virgin and sexually promiscuous, or a vegan meat-lover. Yet, upon phrasing it like this: I was called a “Holocaust denier” or that “black people weren’t oppressed during apartheid” (and other jokes you can’t tell your friends).

Willem Petzer also posted on X:

“The most productive group in South Africa is also the group targeted by discriminatory legislation, and also the group constantly called to be genocided.
How is this even a contradiction?”

The sheer entitlement of claiming to be well-off and oppressed at the same time!

The Aggressiveness of right-wing cyber bullies

To further evidence this contradiction. As a result of my unpopular sentiments: I’ve been dealing with persistent targeted harassment and intimidation from a single deranged anonymous right-wing cyber bully. This dude verbally abuses me and mine with the most heinous of insults (as you will see from the attached comments and screenshots below).

I can’t even post the other screenshots because it’s too ghastly to share here. Since spam-bombing my mailbox last night wasn’t enough, he has now created a burner email where he spread this vitriol about me to a random bunch of academics in SA and abroad.

This vindicates my sentiments that white South Africans are not persecuted. We are not oppressed. We do not suffer from an apartheid 2.0 because if we did, we would not be having this conversation. I am not posting this for sympathy: just to show how aggressive these people and their cult following gets when their lies are exposed.
