Richard Ceasar is a Crowd Favourite at Jazz On The Lawn

Richar Ceasar will be one of the star attractions at Jazz On The Lawn JOL2023 on 16 December.
Arguably one of Cape Town’s consistently most internationally traveled musicians, the vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist literally performs all over the world.
Having played at the original Jazz On The Lawn Festivals over a decade ago, and again at JOL2022, Richard Ceasar, who is still as popular as ever and JOL crowd favourte, is a welcome addition to the JOL2023 lineup.

Jazz on The Lawn 2023 is a Celebration of Cape Jazz Culture

The classically trained guitarist was exposed to jazz music through his interactions with the Schilder family and was performing solo gigs that started drawing the attention of some of the top Cape Town Jazz musicians. This led to Richard Ceasar being invited by the legendary Monty Webber to join the iconic group Concert Boulevard.

As a solo artist, he has released thirteen albums of which the latest, Sentimental Impressions, was released in March 2023.
We are sure that fans of Richard Ceasar will know what to expect when he takes to the stage at JOL2023 but those who have never heard him play before are in for a pleasant surprise.
