Cape Town’s live music scene is one of the most exciting in South Africa. Leading from the front is local hip hop and reggae.
Fresh off hitting the right notes with the Heritage Music Picnic, Woodstock Live brings you the Annual Hip Hop & Reggae Sunday.
The first Annual Hip Hop & Reggae Sunday is a new addition to the Woodstock Live series of events.
An extremely loyal fan base, coupled with progressive production and songwriting put these two genres at the cutting edge of the music industry.
On 30 October, the historic Trafalgar Park will feature an incredible lineup that includes: Hemelbesem, Youngsta, EJ von Lyrik, The Rudimentals, Sons of Selassie and Crosby.
These are live acts on the line-up are all currently riding a wave of popularity within their genres and the goddess EJ von Lyrik whose work has been featured on Bruinou.com is a great example of the ability to merge all the different styles of both Hip Hop and Reggae, so revellers are in for a real treat.
Dj’s include Dubmaster China, Dj Real Rozzano and Dj Yellow of Triple Crown Soundsystem.
