Dancers from across the nation are set to battle it out at Studio 3 Cape Town Stadium in the Red Bull BC One 2016 South Africa Finals on Saturday 30 April starting at 6:00PM.
Red Bull BC One is hailed as the most important one-on-one B-Boy competition in the world.
The South African Red Bull BC One Finals will determine which South African dancer goes the 2016 World Final to be held in Nagoya, Japan at the end of November.
Started in 2004 in Biel, Switzerland, the Red Bull BC One World Final has since travelled to many countries around the world including Johannesburg, South Africa in 2007, with last year's World Final held in Rome, Italy.
In 2015 Eerste River's Brandon Petersen aka The Curse, won a very tough final of the South African Red Bull BC One Cypher which was held in Johannesburg. You can check out that video and our ticket giveaway further below.
Some of the most ground-breaking dancing can be seen on the stage of the Red Bull BC One, as each year the competition gets tougher and dancers seek new ways of movement to outdo their opponents, all the while influencing the next generation of B-Boys.
The Red Bull BC One belt is one of the most coveted prizes in B-Boying around the world today.
Held at Cape Town Stadium the 2016 SA Final is also a showcase of other aspects of dance culture and in particular also the other Elements of the Hip Hop of which of course B-Boying is one and the others being DJing, MCing and Graffiti Art.
The event also has some of the country's top DJ's on board. AZUHL of the Beat Bangaz is a regular at spinning the music to which the Red Bull BC one B-Boys do battle and will be on deck duty once again while well known DJ, Radio Personality and a proponent of Hip Hop Culture, DJ Eazy from Cape Town will be the Host MC.
Eazy can always be counted on to add a flair of excitement that hypes up audiences.
