Andrea Abrahams, the stunningly beautiful South African winner of the Miss 7 Continents international beauty pageant run by World League of Beauty & Fashion of which Armenian fashion kingpin Ashot Khachatryan is the president, is making international beauty and fashion headlines. Mainstream media here at home seems to be totally unaware of her existence or are willfully ignoring her achievements.
Bruinou.com would like to add our voice of congratulations to our country's latest holder of a prestigious international beauty pageant title.

Andrea Abrahams, who lives in Piet Retief, Mpumalanga, is originally from Ashton, a small town in the Langeberg region of the Western Cape famed for its wines and fruit farming.

According to a Facebook post by her aunt, Annaline Davids, 19 year old Andrea has won the title on Friday 13 May and arrived home the following Tuesday and though she has made international headlines, the South African mainstream media is yet to give her the coverage she deserves as a beauty and fashion ambassador for our country.

The only meaningful media coverage that Andrea has thus far received for her achievements has been in the local Piet Retief publication Excelsior News and that was before the Miss 7 Continents contest.
Davids urges everyone to make sure that Andrea gets the recognition due to her and we at Bruinou.com fully concur.

After being crowned as Miss Junior South Africa Mpumalange on 26 March 2016 Andrea participated in the national finals of the Miss Jnr South Africa competition. Out of all the contestants in the Miss Jnr South Africa 2016 competition, although she was not the overall winner, or a runner-up for the Miss Jnr SA title, Andrea was selected to represent South Africa at the Miss 7 Continents contest held in Bodrum, Turkey from 6 to 16 May 2016.

The South African winners of various categories in the World League of Beauty & Fashion 2016 pageants.Andrea was not the only South African winner at the 2016 World League of Beauty & Fashion pageants in Bodrum, Turkey.
There were also other categories where South Africans took all the highest honours.
Zenande Mncwabe (7) from Richard’s Bay won Little Miss Universe 2016 title, Deanté Swart (9) from Greytown was crowned Little Miss World, Chante Green (11) from Mossel Bay won Little Miss Globe, Mpho Botha (15) from Welkom won Mr Teen World.
They were all entered into the 2016 WLBF competitions through Pageants SA which is the brainchild of Carolyn Baldwin Botha.

Bruinou.com has been unable to confirm the exact nature of the prizes which Andrea has won along with her title of Miss 7 Continents 2016 but judging by the amount of European television coverage the event has had and the publicity the competition receives from international fashion publications, the prestige of winning the title cannot be ignored.

Andrea's future looks more than promising and we at Bruinou.com wish her well with all of her endeavours.
