The Wave Theatre at 44 Long Street Cape Town presents Uncle Cal & The Elastic Band Live followed by Uncle Caal’s Birthday Bash Afterparty on Saturday 7 October 2023 starting at 8pm.
Uncle Cal & The Elastic Band is a partially electronic ensemble that performs revised lounge & house versions of music by Abdullah Ibrahim, Hugh Masekela, Robbie Jansen, Jonathan Butler, and many others. The concept of the band is a rhythm section of musicians playing guitar, percussion, saxophone, and keyboards incorporated with DJ elements that gives the production a dynamic live edge.
For this live performance Uncle Cal & Elasic Band features Carmen Xclusive, Ian Smith & Cameron Ward.
Tickets to the 8pm Uncle Cal & The Elastc Band Live Perforrmance at R150pp includes access to Uncle Cal’s Birthday Bash at 10pm.
Those only wishing to attend Uncle Cal’s Birthday Bash Afterpary starting at 10pm will pay R80pp.
