Local music legends and rising stars will come together for a spectacular celebration of sound and soul as LRI Productions presents a top-tier Music Showcase on Saturday, 19 July 2025, at Fairbairn College, Goodwood.
The Showcase by LRI Productions features , and the Sean de Vries Band in a heartfelt tribute to South African talent and musical excellence. The show is designed to uplift, entertain, and remind Capetonians of the world-class artistry rooted in their own communities.

The event will blend soul, gospel, R&B, pop, and heartfelt ballads into a rich, emotionally charged musical experience. Backed by the versatile Sean de Vries Band, each performer will bring their signature style to a collaborative, high-energy production that promises both nostalgic moments and fresh surprises.
The Musical Talent
Any great show with multiple top solo artists who are set to perform with the same backing band, needs that band to be excpetional and that is indeed the case with the backbone of The Showcase by LRI Productions.
The Sean De Vries Band, led by accomplished musical director and pianist Sean de Vries, is a talented ensemble that has earned a name as one of Cape Town’s premier backing bands. Known for their musical tightness, creative arrangements, and genre-spanning capabilities, the Sean de Vries Band adapts to each artist’s style with finesse, elevating every performance.
Sasha-Lee Davids, Winner of Idols SA Season 5, is a singer whose rich expressive voice and emotional honesty have made her one of the country’s most beloved vocalists. Raised in Atlantis and steeped in gospel music from a young age, Sasha-Lee’s vocal journey has always been rooted in faith, storytelling, and authenticity.
Berenike “Berry” Trytsman became a household name when she won Idols SA Season 17, where her ability to transform every performance into a show-stopping moment earned her over 12 million votes and a legion of devoted fans. Known for her powerful range and raw emotional delivery, Berry blends pop, gospel, and soul into a captivating live experience.
Fagrie Isaacs is an undisputed gem in the Cape Town music community, celebrated for his commanding vocal style and his soul-stirring Power Balads. With a career that spans decades, Fagrie has performed both locally and abroad, establishing himself as a seasoned performer with a gift for connecting deeply with his audience.
Robin Pieters, from his time on The Voice SA to commanding stages across the country, has built a reputation as one of Cape Town’s most charismatic and versatile performers. Known for his slick vocal control, smooth dance moves, and crowd-friendly energy, Robin seamlessly moves between genres from R&B to pop and everything in between.
Karin Kortje made history when she won Idols SA Season 3, not just as a winner, but as a voice of resilience, authenticity, and transformation. Hailing from Grabouw in the Western Cape, Karin captured the hearts of millions with her humble story and unmatched vocal strength. Over the years, she has used her voice as a force for healing, often blending gospel with jazz and adult contemporary genres.
